Important Info You Need to Know

Do I need a fishing license?

YES. Everyone in the boat MUST have a fishing license purchased at least 24 hours before their fishing date.  Tennessee Wildlife and Resources requires that you make an account with them in order to purchase a license.  Single day licenses are available for sale.  A trout stamp is not required. You can make your account and purchase your fishing license here.

What should I wear?

Everyone going fishing must have proper footwear!  This needs to be shoes with a heel strap, such as tennis shoes, water shoes, or river sandals.  NO FLIP FLOPS or sandals without a heel strap are permitted!!  Water shoes can be rented or purchased at the outpost if desired. You will need clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit wet and can keep you warm and comfortable.  We do offer spray jackets for those cooler days or for those people who get cold easily.  These can also be rented at the outpost.

Can I fly fish?

No. Because the way our trips are structured, you are unable to fly fish on our trips.  We provide you with all the gear needed as well as the best guides who know all the ideal Pigeon River fishing spots on the river.

Can I go on a rafting trip after my fishing trip?
Yes, you can enjoy both trips in the same day.  We offer a special combo price.

Do Not Follow GPS Directions!

GPS will get you here BUT it will take you on a single lane, winding road that does not have cell phone service and can be extremely harrowing for those unused to mountain driving.  Follow our website directions and save yourself some aggravation.  We want you to enjoy your experience with us – even your drive to us to start your adventure.

If you want a fun and unique Pigeon River fishing trip, look no further. Our experienced guides will take you to the best fishing spots on the river. Book your fishing trip on the Pigeon River, today.
